Van Horn, Metz & Company (VHM) is partnering with Aralon Color in the area of fluorescent pigments. Under this collaboration VHM will provide formaldehyde‐free, fluorescent pigments to customers in CANADA and in the East Coast of USA.
Aralon Color GmbH, established in 2010, provides a wide range of innovations designed to solve technical and performance issues and deliver additional value to customers. The ARAGEN and
ARAQUA fluorescent pigments provide the best in class performance. ARAGLO rare‐earth
phosphorescent pigments are free of radioactive additives and can be recharged an infinite number
of times. The ARASTIR powdery pigments dispersions are developed as an optimal choice for water resistance demanding applications; they have very good stability at high pH values and very good NON staining performance.
“Aralon Color and the fluorescent pigments complement nicely our Color Universe, a portfolio of pigments and dyes that we recently launched,” adds Barry Fisher, VHM’s President. “We are now able to provide sustainable solutions for our customers manufacturing waterborne paints and dispersions, textile coatings, fluorescent latex foam, PVC traffic cones, where fluorescent effects are desired.”
