Hoover 316BS Burnt Sienna

316BS is a Pigment Red 101:1, natural Iron Oxide known for its durability, lightfast, chemical resistance and improved stability, compared to Raw Siennas. It is one of the highest quality pigments and it combines ease of dispersion with high color strength. 316BS is used in almost any application, but is most often recognized as one of the prime pigments used for stains and glazes in wood coatings because of the transparency and warm red tone. When people picture the woods cherry, mahogany and rosewood, they most often are picturing those woods stained with 316BS.
